I saw online someone had the brilliant idea of mixing hazelnut cocoa spread with finely chopped Ferrero Rocher hazelnut milk chocolate balls to make a Ferrero Rocella spread (check the link to see how to make it from scratch).

I had the brilliant idea of substituting Hershey chocolate bar pieces in Smores with Ferrero Rotella (yes, I renamed it because I think Rotella is better than Rocella)!
However, I chose the easy way of making Ferrero Rotella by buying a jar of Nutella, blending 6 pieces of Ferrero Rocher and mixing both together. Here’s the super easy Ferrero Rotella Spread Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 200g jar of Nutella hazelnut cocoa spread
- 6 Ferrero Rocher pieces, or more depending on preference
- Finely cut Ferrero Rocher pieces until there are no big chunks. (I used a ninja blender.)
- Combine the cut up Rochers and Nutella in a bowl and stir thoroughly until combined.
- Put in a suitable jar.
Using 6 Ferrero Rocher pieces allowed me to fit it back in the original Nutella jar filled all the way to the top.

When I offered this to my guests as an option to the standard Hershey bar when making smores as part of my birthday weekend celebration, it was a big hit! The jar was almost empty after 9 of us enjoyed smores that night, noticing some enjoyed a spoonful straight out of the jar by itself!
