If you are still receiving pre-approvals for credit cards or insurance in the mail, consider opting out through the OptoutPrescreen.com website, which prevents Consumer Credit Reporting Companies from providing your credit file information for Firm offers.
There are two options:
- Opt-Out from receiving Firm Offers for Five Years – (electronically).
- Opt-Out from receiving Firm Offers permanently – (mail Permanent Opt-Out Election form).
To process the opt out, your name, address, social security number and date of birth should be provided. Social Security Number and Date of Birth are not required to process the request. However, providing this information will help to ensure that they can successfully process your request.
