I decided to participate in Betabrand’s (BB) The World’s First Work From Home Fashion Show airing on Wednesday, April 15 by submitting pre-recorded video using my hallway as the runway. If you are free, consider going to the BB website at 5:30pm PDT today.
I have a ridiculous amount of Dress Pant Yoga Pants (DPYP) from Betabrand because they look as good as the previous work slacks (Banana Republic, NY & Co, Ann Taylor, etc.) I used to wear, but are so much more comfortable since they are made with yoga pant like material (Wrinkle-resistant ponte fabric with 4-way stretch and an elastic waist band with a non-functional button, faux fly and belt loops to simulate the look of slacks). BB claims their DPYPs are “The most comfortable pants you’ll ever wear to work, or anywhere else.” and I wouldn’t have donated pretty much all my other branded work slacks and replaced them with BB DPYP if I didn’t wholeheartedly agree!
Even though I’ve been working from home for over 10 years, I own 25+ DPYPs that I wear around the house, running errands, nights out on the town and the rare occasions I actually go to an office for work or business related conferences/conventions.
