This is a guided meditation for a New Moon that is performed at the end of a new moon ritual. Please refer to my New Moon Ritual post for further details of the entire ritual. This meditation does not have any music in the background so please feel free to play some on your own if you so desire.
First begin by ensuring your body is comfortable. Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, hold and breathe out through your mouth. Inhale, hold and exhale. Breathe in, hold and breathe out. Take notice of how your body feels by doing a quick scan from head to toe. Bring to mind the exact date of today and picture that date written out in your head.
Now see the dates changing moving forward one day at a time until it shows a month has passed. It is now one month into the future and feel as if you have time traveled to that date now. It is now the next new moon cycle. Take some time to allow yourself in your mind to feel that today is actually one month into the future. See that date written out in your mind and feel that date is today.
Look at the piece of paper that you wrote your intention on last month. Allow the feelings of relief, gratitude, and happiness to come over you as you appreciate how the intention you set in the last new Moon has come to fruition.
Let your mind remember how that goal manifested into your reality in the recent past. See exactly how that situation happened including who was with you, the environment you were in and what you are doing when it happened and how it came to be. Immerse yourself in all the possible senses of this moment such as how the clothes you are wearing felt on your body, the smells of the location that you were in, the temperature and weather of that day, the things that you heard and saw that was going on around you. Imagine your reaction and what you said, did and felt when you realized how you powerfully manifested the exact intention you set at the last new Moon. If you were alone when you came to this realization, recall the first person you gave your incredible news to, feeling the sheer pleasure, joy and sense of accomplishment that came with sharing this wonderful news.
See yourself preparing for another new Moon ritual just as you have the month before. Enjoy the feeling of knowing this month you are able to set a brand-new intention because you have already achieved your goal from the previous month. You are successful in moving forward and pleased with yourself that you don’t have to set the same intention as you did before.
As we begin to end this meditation, take a deep breath in, hold and breathe out through your mouth. During the next inhalation and exhalation feel free to begin to move your fingers and toes. Inhale, hold and exhale. Breathe in, hold and breathe out and come fully back into your body. When you are ready, feel free to open your eyes.
