Numerology: Birth Day

Per a report I purchased from Numerologist.com, it provides both a high level overview explanation of what a Birth Day is and what my specific birth day means for me. It describes the birth day as follows: It is also known as the “Psychic” or “Ruling” Number because it explains the nature of your existence, your true self, and lends to the events that unfold throughout your lifetime by revealing the unique and powerful abilities that you naturally possess. Obviously a person’s Birth Day Number cannot change since you can’t change the day you were born. This core number interacts with a person’s Life Path number to create different vibrational cycles that will naturally be experienced throughout the duration of life. It defines how one will handle the opportunities and challenges that present themselves throughout life. Intimately understanding this can help with making better and more empowering decisions in all areas of life and open the road to more success, happiness and prosperity.

According to Numerology.com, with my date of birth on the 6th, it says my heart is my gift. I am a natural-born nurturer and have a great talent for helping and healing others. I am the epitome of self-sacrifice and a fierce protector of those I love. This description is quite generic and probably many people not born on the 6th may also resonate with what is said here too. Evaluating it from my own perspective, I can’t say that I really agree with this description because I don’t see myself helping others in a healing way on a regular basis. I don’t consider myself as a true nurturing type simply because I am not drawn to really help people generally. I’ll be the first to admit that I am self-centered and selfish. The word nurturer makes me think of a motherly type and that is not a word I associate to. When it comes to the people I love fiercely, then yes, I can relate to giving all that have, to the point of self-sacrifice to be there for those special people in my life. But outside of that I’m not sure I can say this numerical description feels accurate for me.

Moving on to the detailed report I received, it says the following based on my Birth Day:

  1. You will attract many opportunities to achieve and will be quick to capitalize on them especially during the adult years.
    • As I think through my career at the company I’ve been with for 20 years, I recognize that I have pretty much never needed to seek out and find another opportunity to grow and move beyond my current job. Rather I would be tapped on the shoulder and offered to apply or take a different jobs or positions. So yes, I do believe this resonates with me.
  2. Unlike people who are ambitious and constantly seek the acknowledgment of others, it’s the expression of love in the spirit of cooperation that enables you to attract comfort and security into your life.
    • I would not consider myself an ambitious type at all and actually shy away from public acknowledgements because I feel very uncomfortable when people are even looking at me. I love being a lower level worker who is simply assigned tasks to execute and even declined manager positions for years because it was not something I ever wanted to do. I do not relate to people who are very ambitious wanting to climb the professional ladder or always looking for praise and recognition. The only reason I have found myself in lead or manager roles is because I knew that I was the only viable candidate and did not want to see my team suffer if I could be the only who could do something about it.
  3. Sometimes this vibration will attract attention of others who wish to give you their problems and you might find it difficult to say no. But this vibration also tracks opportunities to act in your own best interest and when you pick up on that current you’ll attract what you need and desire instead of opportunities to sacrifice your own time and good fortune for someone else’s benefit.
    • Well ain’t this the truth, I do feel that I attract problems from other people and have had thoughts many times before of why I can’t seem to be surrounded by more people who have their lives together without issues than not. I guess the lesson I need to learn and implement is to say no and act on my self-centered thoughts more often if I want to attract what I need and desire.
  4. You may find that you attract anxiety filled situations centered on the issue of doing things perfectly which could lead to manipulative attitudes that don’t bring good results, but if you stay focused on your well-being instead of what others think is right, you’ll find these situations disappear.
    • I feel a bit conflicted on this one because I, without a doubt, attract anxious situations based on perfection tendencies, but it is not because I worry about what others think. Rather I am very hard on myself and couple that with my OCD ways, I myself am not happy unless everything I touch is absolutely perfect.
  5. Combining your Birth Day with your Life Path your hard work can result in not only success but in a secure and happy home life.
    • All I can say about this is I am still waiting to be successful, secure and happy in my home life as I don’t feel I have achieved that yet.
  6. If various life lessons about learning to adapt and adjust to situations are dealt during your early years, you may rise more quickly as far as career and business are concerned.
    • I don’t feel my early years were filled with life lessons to adapt and adjust to situations in a manner that had me rise very quickly in my career, so do not think this applies to my life.
  7. By the time you reach adulthood it’s likely that you will be settled into a well-managed and orderly life.
    • Same as number 5 and 6, I don’t feel this resonates with me because I don’t feel like I am well-managed or orderly in my life. At least not in the way that I would like to see for myself.
  8. Pushing yourself too hard at work may put you in the position of being the one who gets the most difficult tasks.
    • Now this is absolutely 100% accurate for me as I have always felt like I’ve been the hardest worker and as a result been “rewarded” by being given the hardest tasks, accounts and work to manage compared to others. It sucks, I complain about it and I know that if I continue to do it that I will have the same result, but the trait inside me that wants to put my best forward in all I do is not something I’ve figured out how to ignore.
  9. The same thing may occur if you put too much energy into doing favors for others at the expense of your time with those closest to you.
    • I can think of several occasions where I ended up helping others at the expense of my own time. Not unlike the previous item, I haven’t figured out how to say no to those I love, even if I feel like I don’t have time to help them and would much rather work on one of my own problems instead.

Overall, I think many things rang true for me, but not necessarily every aspect. This does not surprise me since, like Astrology, I don’t expect things to be 100% accurate. The main takeaways I have from my Birth Day Number is to be more self-centered and say no more often to others who ask for my help with problems so that I can bring more of what I need and want in my own life. Also to be less perfectionistic, which has been something I have struggled to reduce for decades now because I know it is only hindering me.

I recommend checking the Numerology.com website out if you are interested in what your Birth Day reveals about you, as well as doing other online searches for more detailed information since it only gives a brief description similar to what I shared with my own Birth Day at the very beginning. Maybe you will gain some insight as I did, or maybe not.
