A karmic debt number refers to specific negative aspects that happened in past lives that should be addressed by learning a lesson and overcoming the negative characteristics in the current life. There are four different karmic debt numbers – 13, 14, 16 and 19. These numbers can appear anywhere, such as one of the top 5 numerology aspects of a person’s profile or even the address of a home that they live in.
I have lived in two houses associated to karmic debt numbers (13 and 19) and know a couple others who also live in other karmic debt numbered homes, such as House #16, which is the last post I published. I started this house numerology blog series with the karmic debt number 19 since this was the impetus of me getting into numerology and wanting to learn more about it. This post goes into the karmic debt number 14.
14 as a karmic debt number refers to a cruel person who abused freedom or a position of power in a past life, whether that was taking advantage of or dominating other people and their freedom. They were selfish, inconsiderate and abusive of others. This results in a lack of self-control and overindulgence in the current lifetime, which puts them at risk of addictions, impatience and relationship issues. The current life is bound to be filled with many changes that must be adapted to.
Those with this number in their numerology chart may be rude, lack humbleness and emotional stability or struggle with sticking to regular schedules. Therefore, they must learn to focus, stay committed and adapt to their ever changing circumstances, without running away. To achieve this, they must learn to set guidelines, boundaries and limitations and abide by all that they set for themselves, with moderation being the key in all things they do. In addition, it will help if they reduce the amount of and concentrate only on the specific things that are truly important. While it will feel easier to shun and disregard responsibilities to choose overindulgent activities, such as sex, alcohol, smoking or drugs, this is exactly what should be purposefully avoided. These types of actions should not be sustained otherwise they risk losing themselves in these activities, which will have dire consequences. By focusing on mental and emotional stability, one may overcome the karmic lesson and pay back the debt.
When adding the digits of the house address or unit number of an apartment totals up to 14, it is considered a house with the karmic debt number and can hold the energies related to this particular karma. It is believed that those who rent or purchase a residence with this karmic number is unconsciously drawn to do so because they are meant to deal with the specific karma for a reason. A unique fact of the 14 home is that it common to see these homes available for rental.
A home with this karmic number is actually great for people who like to travel and experience new things who aren’t home all that much. Residents living in this house may attract friends and family who frequently stop by. However, the main issue with a 14 house is that one can easily get carried away with overindulgence as explained with the karmic debt number description and as an example have an addiction to alcohol or drugs. Relationship struggles may also be an issue for those living in the home. By being aware of the negative aspects of a 14 home one can strive to be more modest, kind, and practice healthy habits by having a strong personality and a lot of willpower to overcome the negative energies of the karmic house.
The first place I lived in after moving out of my parents home was a karmic debt 14, but I only lived there for 6 months and cannot say that I resonated with any of the energies this home is claimed to have. I am not sure if it was due to the fact that I was there for such a short time. I know with Feng Shui energies, it is common for both good and bad energies to strengthen over time with the full power of them being felt and manifesting after the one year mark of moving into the home and strengthening from there. I don’t know if that is the case with numerology, but wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case also.
During my time living in a 14 home, I did not travel a lot or seek out to have new and different experiences while I was living there. In fact I was home quite often since I wanted to enjoy living on my own and spent a good amount of time trying to settle in and make my home comfortable. I can only recall having 2 visitors during the time that I lived there. Because the apartment was not necessarily in the nicest neighborhood and the unit was extremely small, it was not conducive to having more than two people inside. I also did not find myself overindulging in any bad habits during that time since I was just starting to work and that was my main priority. As for relationship struggles, I did not have a boyfriend at the time and had ended my previous relationship prior to even moving out of my parents’ home. Obviously, at the time I lived at this karmic 14 home, I had no knowledge of numerology or the karmic debt numbers so was not aware to change my behavior in any way. Overall I felt I generally had healthy habits and was driven to focus on ensuring positivity with the various aspects of my life since I was starting out on my own for the first time. It is likely that may have played a factor in my experience in the karmic debt 14 home as well.
