Minimalism: Final KonMari thoughts

Minimalism “the life-changing magic of tidying up”  Chapter 5 final pages summary:

The last two pages of the last chapter read: “You won’t die if your house isn’t tidy, and there are many people in the world who really don’t care if they can’t put their house in order.  Such people, however, would never pick up this book.  You, on the other hand, have been led by fate to read it, and that means you probably have a strong desire to change your current situation, to reset your life, to improve your lifestyle, to gain happiness, to shine.  For this very reason, I can guarantee that you will be able to put your house in order.

Human beings can only truly cherish a limited number of things at one time….I believe, however, that it is best to tidy up quickly and get it over with. Why?  Because tidying is not the purpose of life….The only task that you will need to continue for the rest of your life are those of choosing what to keep and what to discard and of caring for the things you decide to keep.

…pour your time and passion into what brings  you the most joy,  your mission in life.  I am convinced that putting your house in order will help you find the  mission that speaks to your heart.  Life truly begins after you have put your house in order.”

So there it is my dear readers, the final summary post of “the life-changing magic of tidying up”.  I am ready to begin the process and hope you will consider joining me!
