It annoyed me when I would have to dig through my kitchen drawer to find a can opener, vegetable peeler or garlic press. It’s not like I had a ton of things inside my kitchen drawers, but enough to require extra time pushing items aside to find the tool I actually needed.
I am a natural organizer and have been since I was a child. So looking for a better way to organize the items rolling around on top of each other in my drawer has been on my to do list for some time. I had been eyeing KMN Home DrawerDecor Customizable Organizer, Drawer and Shelf Cabinet Liners, Non-Slip and Easy Clean, Deluxe Starter Kit, 16 Piece – Red for a while. Holding off because I thought it was a bit pricey, but ultimately decided to buy it because it was fully customizable and seemed to fit my needs better than anything else I researched.
I love it! After using it for a few months and marveling how much easier and quicker it is to grab my kitchen tools while cooking, I kicked myself for not buying it sooner because I was being cheap.

It’s easy to install, simply measure the drawer, cut the base mat to size and place the dividers to fit your items however you see fit! The mat and dividers stick to each other well yet are easy to pull apart and reposition.
I plan to buy 2 more for my other drawer of serving spoons and knives and the infamous “junk” drawer, which I hope will no longer contain junk – after I go through the whole KonMari process. Speaking of which, looking at my picture, I don’t really need two vegetable peelers, but I am going to draw the line at my rice scoops since both of those do spark joy! (The wooden one I picked up when I was in Miyajima, Japan where the rice scoop was claimed to be invented and where you can find the world’s largest rice scoop!)

Cheap is not always the way mama. With that said; there is nothing wrong with being frugal.
