NY Outlet Shopping – Lafayette 148

I’ll be honest, I’ve never even heard of this brand until I walked through the outlet door, but my manager was very familiar and knew they were having a ridiculous sale on footwear.  I have been looking for a new pair of tall black boots for some time and was hoping to find a pair here.  Unfortunately, they didn’t have what I was looking for, but I did walk out with a pair of boots anyway!

There have been a few occasions where I’ve come across a pair of shoes that is the last pair in my size, fits me perfectly and makes me strut around the store because they not only feel great, but look great.  And even rarer is when they are being sold at a great price.  This was the case with this pair of over the knee suede Italian boots, which retailed for $648.00.

With a 93% discount, (YES, 93%!!!!) which I think has to be the highest discount I have ever received on any high end brand item I’ve come across at an outlet before, I only ended up paying $48 for these super soft, fit my calves like a glove beautiful boots!  That being said, I think the retail cost of these are ridiculously high as is the case with most high end brands and my point of measure when purchasing anything – so I don’t get swayed simply because an item is high double digits % discounted is to compare it to what I would pay for that particular item irrespective of the brand.  For quality thigh high genuine leather boots, I would not hesitate to spend a few hundred dollars for a pair, so $48 was a no brainer for me.  I’ve paid more in the past for faux leather knee high boots so coming across these felt like one of those meant to be moments for sure!

I cannot wait for fall this year…I have every intention of wearing these beauties a whole lot!
