If you’ve read my Unique Items in Your Home blog post, you’ll know I want to surround myself with one of a kind things that bring me joy. I wanted to put some art up on my bedroom walls and decided to make my own since I also like to be crafty.
I found several wall art in the clearance aisle of Hobby Lobby for $1-$2 each.

Then I grabbed several shopping bags of the brands I loved, many from my outlet excursions. I cut the bags up and pasted them onto the frames.

There were a couple that I took the time to paste the inside of the bag onto the back as well because they were part of the brand. I liked knowing that there was more behind what was seen upfront.

To finish the product, I cut out the embedded picture hangers for those that were originally vertical and switched to horizontal because of the way the brand of the bag fit on the piece and stuck command strips to hang them up on my wall.

Lastly, I arranged and hung them all up on my wall.

This was a fun project that gave me the one of a kind wall decor I wanted without too much effort. If you have made your own decor for your home, I’d love to see pictures!
